“From an object to a puppet” med Trupe Fandanga

The challenge for this workshop is based on the creation of characters using the agglomeration of objects from the most varied origins, more or less suggestive, that allow the development of a functional and expressive puppet.
The focus is on the potential of objects. They will define the character and movement of the puppet. What does the object transmit to us, what are the limitations of movement in the construction of the puppet and how to take advantage of these same limitations in its manipulation, are some of the questions that we will address.
As junk gleaners, it is a pleasure to offer the fruit of our gleaning to other present and future puppet makers.
