MenosMuitoMais (Portugal): ERMA

Erma comes from a place without a sky.
A place where almost everything has been forgotten.

Alone, surrounded by absences, objects and small creatures that accompany her, she tries to rebuild the world from fragments of memory: words that no longer remember their meaning, smells that linger on the skin, images of houses, food, voices and laughter.

Created through the manipulation of puppets, objects and animated forms, ERMA traces a delicate journey through memory, absence and survival — a liminal space where each spectator is invited to remain like a leaf carried by the wind.

Erma kommer fra et sted uten himmel.
Et sted hvor nesten alt er glemt.
Alene, omgitt av fravær, gjenstander og små skapninger som følger henne, prøver hun å gjenoppbygge verden fra fragmenter av minner: ord som ikke lenger husker sin egen betydning, lukter som henger igjen på huden, bilder av hus, mat, stemmer og latter.
Gjennom manipulering av figurer, gjenstander og animerte former, sporer ERMA en skjør reise gjennom minner, fravær og overlevelse – et temporært rom hvor hver tilskuer inviteres til å forbli som et blad båret av vinden.
