Palestinian puppetry artists. Now.

Through occupation, bombardment, starvation and displacement, puppetry artists continue their work.

This exhibition highlights the work of puppeteers on Gaza and The West Bank.

The artists that are presented are Yousef Al-Hindi (Camp Theatre) and Mahdi Karera (Kayyout theatre) from Gaza, and Nadil Khateeb (Al-Tantoura theatre) and Diana Al-Swaitti (Fridge theatre) from Hebron.

Norwegian artists Runi Langum, Peter Knudsen, Lena Heggelund and Kamsvaag/Bergsten present a poster art work dedicated to each of the artists.

The exhibition is open in connection with the festival opening times, and can be seen before or after shows and events.

Exhibition opening September 19th at 18.30 by HE Ms. Marie Antoinette Sedin, the Palestinian Ambassador to Norway.
